A laboratory is a place for scientific research, experimentation, measurement or scientific training to be carried out. Laboratories are usually created to allow these activities to be carried out in a controlled manner, the Faculty of Medicine, Jakarta Veterans National Development University is equipped with a modern and adequate Anatomy laboratory.
There are 2 teaching aids in the anatomy laboratory:
1. Anatomage table tool for virtual anatomical dissection
2. Whole Body Plastinated Cadaver which can be rotated 360 degrees
Both are intended as media for teaching human anatomy in detail.
In the laboratory there are also whole body formaldehyde cadavers and anatomical organ preparations per organ system, for direct teaching media with real human bodies which cannot be replaced by other teaching aids, then there are also anatomical mannequins per system, especially the special sensory system which is part of the the parts are so small that it is difficult to learn using real cadavers, such as the anatomy of the eyes and ears.
